Adwaita Mission public school an educational institution, run by Advaita mission educational and charitable trust (amect) started functioning in 2005. The institution is one where all students irrespective of their language, religion, caste or creed, are welcome to receive an education. Puthukode is a rural area 19km (east) to the south of Kozhikode city. Due to the educational backward condition of this area a public meeting was held to decide the opening of a school giving importance to holistic and quality education based on the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India. School gives much emphasis on inculcating a strong sense of traditional values aid moral sense of purpose in students.
The school aims to enable all students to explore their full potential academically, and spiritually. Here we assimilate in the students a love of learning and instil in them a desire to excel at every level.
